Individual and Couples Therapy
“I wish for you a world in which you can breathe deeply and calmly and know that you’re okay.”
-Nadine Fish, LMSW, CAADC • Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [CBT]
Individual Counseling
Your personal opportunity to receive support and to experience growth during challenging times in your life. To help you to deal better with many personal topics such as anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship challenges, parenting problems, career changes, etc. Counseling allows you to explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. To work through challenging or dysfunctional thoughts. Identify aspects of your life that you would like to improve. To better understand yourself and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Couples Counseling
To help you recognize and better manage or reconcile differences and troublesome patterns of stress in your relationship.
Group Counseling
To teach you CBT skills and principles through group. Participants learn to change their dysfunctional thoughts to more positive realistic thinking. As a therapist, I once believed individual therapy was superior but I have learned that this is not so; conversely, people learn and grow from supporting and sharing with others in group. Group therapy is truly dynamic.
